Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

PokeHax has no account system. There is nothing to sign up for, and we never ask you for personal information. This page says exactly what leaves your phone and why.

What we never collect

  • No name, email address, phone number or postal address.
  • No Pokémon GO account, username, trainer code or game credentials.
  • No location data.
  • No contacts, photos, messages or files.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third party trackers of any kind.
  • No payment card details. We never see them.

What the app does send

To make a license work, the app contacts our server. Those requests carry two things and nothing else:

  • Your license code, so we know which license is being used.
  • Your device identifier, the Android ID your phone already provides. This is what binds a license to one device, so a single license cannot be used on many phones at once.

That happens when you activate a license, when the app checks whether your license is still valid, when you release a device, and when the app requests the module it is licensed for.

The Android ID is not your name and does not identify you as a person, but it does identify your device, so we treat it as personal data and list it here rather than claim we collect nothing.

Compatibility and update checks

The app also asks our server which Pokémon GO build the current module supports and whether a newer version of PokeHax is available. Like any web request, our server sees the IP address it came from. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by Patreon. Your card details, billing address and any other payment information go to Patreon, never to us. We only learn that a license was issued. Patreon processes that data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

A license record exists for as long as the license does. Releasing a device from the Licenses screen unbinds that device identifier from your license.

Removing your data

Because there is no account, there is very little to remove. If you want your license record deleted, ask us through our support channel with the license code, and the license ends along with it.

Changes

If what the app sends ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
